I let something go today

OH Roger
I let your saddle go today, its at Linda's shop where we got it 10 years ago.
Hayley and I tried to make it work for her, but it was too narrow for Spot, and too heavy for her to put up on him.  SO I traded it for some of our extras I sold for the saddle and breast collar to match.  YOUR saddle and matching breast collar are on consignment.
I think its for the best, and its one of the larger items I have held onto.  I feel sad but I know someone could use it.  And I wanted it to work for us here, but honestly so heavy for both of us.  I will miss seeing it, I miss seeing it on Moon I miss Moon and I miss seeing your riding with me.  We had such good tail rides, we never did get the trails GPSed for that book.  I have to believe you and Moon are riding together.  And you see Nece and Nicker, give them  a hug for me, they were so special to me.  I bet Jessie and Briar are with you also.  I wish you all were here.  I hate death.
Now riding is on hold while this disease gets in check  - at least for two weeks  unless new cases comes up later.  So if you can make sure we are all healthy.
Miss You
I imagine you on the top of the mt above our place where we watch the big bull elk eat in early spring.  I have not seen them yet but the flooding has created change.  I pretend you are sitting there looking down at us & I talk to you.  Wish you could answer me.
Things are just not progressing forward very fast, I want them to go faster now for me.

Oh, that had to be so hard for you. to take his saddle to the consignment shop. What adventures the two of you must have had together with your horses! I\'m sure he is sitting there with the horses who have also passed, looking down and watching you.

The disease you mention; is it strangles? My daughter\'s horse had that a year or two ago.

How did you come out with the flooding? I have not been on the site in the past few days.

Take care and I hope things are going well. Maybe soon we can get together somewhere.

It is so difficult to have to tend to our spouse\'s possessions. I was kind of lucky about this. My brothers-in-law made 2 trips up to my home to clean out the TON of tools and collected hardware (think pack-rat, but in this regard only). They handled his clothes too. But I still have his vehicle, and it is all I have to drive now. I still have his touring bicycle too. I suppose I should try to sell it. I kept one toolbox for myself. It is hard using those tools. I know how hard this must be for you. Hugs and all my support, Patti

My heart feels yours! No matter where we live, how we lived, what our possessions were together, the pain of living without our loved ones is just plain heart wrenching. I have a garage full of my dear Clyde. I want to make some decisions about what to put in a garage sale and what to keep, but it is so hard to get started. It will be one year on June 8th and I am feeling the loneliness even more. Hugs and blessings, Lindanne
