$234.79 and 8 days, 4 hours of my life saved.
My quit date: 11/13/2010 7:00:00 AM
I am 47 years old, been smoking since 15 years old. I have lost friends to lung and throat cancer, My friend Jo Ann took her last breath last march 2010. My Dad took his last breath March 2009.I have tried many times, making excuses of stress, I am done with excuses, I have prepared for this in a whole different way, On November 13th, I took a deep breath, Got out of bed to a whole new outlook, put on a patch, prayed to God to give me the strength to do this this time! I have been smiling and thinking positive..Keeping even more busy than usual!I can do this! I have never been a quitter, but I will be a quitter for the smoking thing! Lots of meditation and yoga, tons of deep breaths and exercise. I am all about healthy living and wellness of mind, body and soul, and smoking was/is so hypocritical.I feel awesome, What a beautiful day~I eat healthy and exercise. I juice regularly, lots of greens. I have never liked fast food, processed foods, sugars or soda. I eat mostly vegetables & fruit, no dairy, no beef, no bread. No white things, rice, sugar, etc. I drink tons of water, drink healthy teas and read tons of information on healthy living. I was raised in a family that practiced healthy eating and exercise, which I am thankful for everyday, especially when I see so many obese and sick people around me that refuse to change their lifestyle and think all the drugs doctors hand out are the answer to everything. Healthy eating and living is the way, not being a guinea pig. I juice and eat so much spinach, romaine and kale among lots of other vegetables and fruit. I use lots of spices, turmeric is one I use on almost everything. I love my new multi vitamin, Gentle care formula, I take krill oil, calcium, vit c, vit D and many others. I also eat raw garlic daily and can't even remember the last cold or flu I have had, it has been years. I grind my own flax and eat daily. I eat nuts and eat lots of salmon.
So 2011 is going to be a great one!!
Hugs~May all your days be filled with Love, Laughter and Peace!!!!! Hugs *Namaste
