I know!!! I know!!!

Met with the testers.  Alot of what they told me was stuff I knew already--that my son is real smart, a visual learning, struggles with expressing himself in writing.
What I learned was that there is a section in his brain that has trouble "sorting out" & expressing information.  And it can be helped--without drugs!  And the school can help.
They say for the sake of diagnosis, they can call it a touch of Asperger's Syndrome; though it is not a hard & fast diagnosis.  I am going to prefer to call is a disconnect between what's in his head & how he gets it out.  (They explained it all in neurological ways, which I can't totally remember.)
Best part is they can convey the information to my son in such a way that he will understand & will hopefully be encouraged that he is smart and has a lot to offer, and with a little help, he can use the "smart" part of his brain to overcome his social & writing processing weaknesses.
