I just want you to know
I just want you guys to know that this is hard for me. I was super happy. My sibling and my mom don't trust him. Me and him have liked each other for so long and know everyone that I know in person is against it other than my dad and step-mom cause they don't know what he did. I don't want them to find out either.
I am happy but nobody is happy for me. You guys might be but my family isn't. It is just hard knowing that I like someone and my family doesn't care enough to just be happy for me.

They are concerned and worried because they love and care about you. I know things aren't great at home but it doesn't mean they don't care about you.
It's wonderful that you want to give Tatum a chance. You have a big heart and a kind soul. Just please make certain that you aren't blinded by sweet words and gestures. It is especially easy for girls who aren't receiving a lot of love and affection at home to gravitate toward someone who appears to be offering that. The happiness that you feel now could quickly be replaced by a lot of emotional pain if Tatum mistreats you down the road. Your family doesn't want you to get hurt.

So he really needs to step up his game and prove them wrong. He needs to regain their trust. It's hard because you want your family to be happy and they will. It's gonna take time.
