I Just want Him Back
Don't we alway these words, the tears still come yet as we know no matter we can't get them back. Does it feel like the cruelest thing one has ever felt. Does it make sense. No. Why the question Why never ceases. It is a punishment a mom does not feel she deserves. The pain is sometimes not explainable as it changes NOTHING. Tears come. The Pain comes yet it changes nothing. We all know each day is closer to our own death, but our child, no matter the age. The whys are always there. Sometimes we get through days without the pain but it rears up its UGLY HEAD to strike us down again. Just this past week how weird the thoughts are, I knew Ken had cancer. But just this week 5 years later my mind says MY SON HAS CANCER OR HAD CANCER. HOW how can that be! What gets better NOTHING ONLY that we are faced to hold it in, not cry daily. In truth if we let our selves the Raw Pain is as Raw as that day. That day when we screamed with ever being in our bodies. NO NO NO. The pain is there.. I believe in truth we wear our Mask so long we have become our Mask. Yet we know in our hearts, we KNOW THE PAIN WILL ALWAYS BE THERE INSIDE OUR HEARTS, OUR MINDS OUR BODIES. WE WILL ALWAYS WISH FOR OUR CHILD. HOW I WHIS TO HAVE MY CHILD BACK...I LOVE YOU KEN FOREVER AND EVER. MOM

I know, Sandi. It\'s so true. Sometimes I wake up in morning and shake my head& say to myself, \"how did this happen?\" It is the cruelest!
So sorry my friend...love, Linda
Understanding and oh, how I wish that none of us had to be here, meet in this way and that our families were still intact. Our lives are forever changed and so are we. This is not something that we could ever explain to anyone, yet aren\'t there moments when you look in the mirror or catch your reflection and wonder who that woman is gazing back at you? I know I do...
Sending all kinds of heartfelt understanding to you and grateful that we can land here and speak this language of grief and loss together. To everyone else it truly is \"Greek\" as they would say.
Wishing for each of us moments of pause and peace in the midst. Our children are deeply loved and sorely missed always.
XO Joanie
I so understand. We miss our children. We will never forget. We will always want them back with all our being.
Love and tight hugs,
Marlene
There are so many things that I wish I had done differently! How I wish I could go back, for just one day!
Gentle hugs to you, my friend. xxx
If only just one more day......feeling your heart.....so so sorry. ((((hugs)))) Vicki
Oh yes ! Come back....
I know it will not happen but....
We are doing the best we can in our life and our grief. The Mask as you say is what we live being our work and friend mask. I don\'t have to many friends I can be totally real with, but the few I do have take me for me and try to make me feel better ( just love those people)
Sending tight hugs
Penny
Yes, we all wear the mask, or as I call it \"putting on the show\"!! I try to act normal, but I will never be \"normal\" again. I am broken & forever changed.
