I Just Don't Know

Well here I am & where do I begin.
We'd been having some throwing up issues with Angel off & on & I finally just wasn't comfortable with things so we took her to the vet & spoke with him & had her checked.  He took an x-ray & found that it appears her colon is somewhat smaller then what it shd be, hence she was having constipation & throwing up issues.  So we got a stool softener to give her & that definitely seemed to make a difference.  Now the vet's office called last wk & they want her to come in so they could be some followup blood work for her thyroid, pancreatitis, etc., so we'll see tomorrow afternoon.
To boot I see my diabetes dr in the morning at 8 am & then have to go for a mammogram at 11 am.  Oh boy!
Hubby has his regular checkup at the cancer clinic on Monday afternoon & he seems a bit bothered abt it this time.  I have to admit that it does seem like Satan is trying his best to just get at us this time.  I'm so so battling this off, so there Satan!, but darn it it can be hard.  When I feel this happening I hold up a stop sign & envision us celebrating the continued good news on Monday afternoon.
I had previously mentioned that I had been doing a trial on not taking my methotrexate & for several days I felt I was being pulled to start taking it again, possibly my body trying to send me a message.  So I finally gave in & took my dose.  Well, I think I now know why I originally wanted to try without it-'d forgotten how sometimes the 1st 48 hrs afterward I really feel just way off.  Today is past the 1st 48 hrs so I'm feeling a bit more balanced but yesterday, GEE WHIZ, it was almost miserable, I just couldn't function worth a poop.  But I'm also wondering if maybe once my body adjusts to having the med again things will get better cause in all honesty I don't seem to remember usually having this type of problem with it.
Anywho I'll let you all go for now.  I hope this day finds all my fav people her embraced by the love our Lord & the love of family & friends.

Ah, life. Things go well then WHAM BAM, the s-t fairy visits and brings Satan along. I\'m sorry about Angel and hope all goes well with her tests.

Ah, the mammo-slam! I heard a report last week that says they are a waste of time, they show nothing! I\'ve had them since early 40\'s...what the heck? How are your sugar levels?

Prayers for hubbie that he\'s getting bothered for no reason, will be thinking of you both on Monday afternoon. Admire you for trying without your meds. Could it be having this effect due to other meds your taking? My mom was so over medicated and they were interacting, your pharmacist may help. Glad you\'re feeling more like YOU today.

Love you, Kitten, I mean Kitty LOL

Glad to hear your kitty is doing better. Poor little girl. They need us so much don\'t they? Our old Schnauzer just threw up this evening when we came home from the Ash Wednesday service. Poor old man.

Every time I went off of mtx, and went back on it, I had another readjustment period, so that all sounds (sadly) normal to me. I can so relate to the satan thing. He strategizes and waits till just our weakest, most tired, most busy moment to strike. I find skipping even one morning of bible study sets me off in a bad way, sets me up to fail. I am trying hard to remain faithful in all of that and I know it is a hard battle. I pray that God\'s peace surround you on all sides and you & hubby feel a calm delight in the Lord\'s presence today. OH how He can bless us!
