I have to go say goodbye today
I tragically lost my husband to suicide on Saturday 23rd August 2014. He had shot himself in our bedroom. I cant begin to even express my emotions. I know I have to be strong. I have so many questions that sadly will never be answered. I dont know how to cope. Steve I love you with all my heart and would do anything to changed what has happened. Please someone help me??!!

I can\'t tell you how badly I feel for what you are going thru. Hopefully you will reach out in the area that you live and get what ever help you need. You are in my prayers......Colleen
Thank you so very much everyone. I am really battling with letting go. Am planning on going to see him again on Monday. I have already viewed him and had his Memorial but I promised Steve I would go and see him again before he goes to the crematorium. I just cant face the idea of breaking my promise. I also feel that although most people only view once to say goodbye, he is still there for me to see but soon enough he wont be. It may sounds absolutely crazy or even sick to some but I dont want to regret not going to see him again. I have so much guilt and regret as it is, I couldnt deal with any more. Am I going nuts? I am always asking myself that. It just doesnt feel real even though I saw it ALL. I know I need help but at this stage I cant make even the simplest of decisions. Am just so confused and lost. I feel like I have been dropped off on a remote continent without a single soul around. Any advice, please I would really appreciate it. Thank you all so much for your support..... Hugs Tams
Hi! I have a family history of depression. I lost my father to suicide back in 1982. I also lost my sister to suicide in 2009. The shock you are dealing with is the worst kind!!! When a loved one takes their own life, it is the most overwhelming feeling of hopelessness. The only advise I can give you is DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF. I lost my husband on May 19th of this year to cancer. He was the one who got me through all the tough times. The loss of your soul mate on top of the shock is almost unbearable. Think about the good times. You have come to the right site. We are all on this journey together. Take it one day at a time. You are in the very early stages of grieving which is very painful. I am so sorry your loss!!!!! Hugs. Sue
