I have to admit it\'s getting better, it\'s getting better all the time

I think that line comes from a Beatles song. Wherever it comes from, it describes my current situation well.  I feel all right. It still hurts to get active what with the coughing and overall soreness. But if I don't aggravate things, things don't aggravate me. When I went out and checked my BP it was good. My pulse rate ,however, had crept back up over 100. Oh well, it's a work in progress. I haven't heard back from my daughter which is a good thing I suppose. We only seem to hear from our offspring on special occasions...or when they need something. Since she hasn't called (or answered our calls) I suppose things went well at the clinic.  My wife is in mourning. Today is her birthday and she joins me at being 60. I tried to tell her that she is just one day older than yesterday but she is bound and detemined to have her funk so I will leave her to it. All I do is irritate her when I try to cheer her up when she is feeling like this. She'll call a couple of girl friends and hash thing out and she'll feel better. Men just "do not understand".    We do plan to go out and celebrate in a week or so when she has gotten used to the new decade in her life. Other than that, not too much happening. Be well,Tom p.s. Robin, I do intend to get a flu shot. I want o do everything that I can to avoid any more difficulty. I've had enough medical crap for awhile. Tom

Glad to hear that things are getting back on track for you.

They say no news is good news (with the kids). It\'s easy to get too involved in daily life and lose track of the days. Then when too many days go by, you just feel guilty and can\'t call.

Aren\'t women just so hard to understand? Sometimes it is safer for men to just stay on the sidelines and wait us out. We\'ll grab you when we are ready for you :)

We have the flu shot clinic next month at the hospital. It is hitting our area earlier this year for some reason.

Nice to have a quiet day every now and then....
