I have had it with 2022

I got a call from my niece yesterday.  She said that her brother (my nephew) was in ICU.  He had a fender bender and did not stop.  Instead, he drove across the street.  The fellow he hit followed and found John unconscious behind the wheel.  He called EMS.  John ended up in ICU on life support. He was taken off life support today.It was the third death of someone I know in a month.

I am feeling conflicted.  I would have gladly seen John in jail for the way he treated my sister.  John was a miser and control frea.  I guess I am not sad that he is gone.  I am sad for the people who cared about him. 

I am ready for a new year and a new start.
