A month ago I was called to go in for a pics line up at the Police Station.First, I spoke with one of the detectives, that had taken my statement, that night at the hospital. He explained to me, that they had 2 suspects, and that I would be filmed the whole time, while I look at a total of 24 mug shots of men with reddish hair, brow, eyelaches. When I came upon him, I lost it.I started to shake, and tears fell down my cheeks, it was him, he was looking at me,from this photo. There wasn't one doubt in my mind, it was that particular pic. When everything we over, I was told that it was the person that everyone in the small city had thought it was. Many of the parents of the kids who goes to school with my daughter, saw and read the article in the paper, and immediately came to the conclusion that it was R. Another update:

Last night I had friends over, well my friend Tammy was sick so she didn\'t come over but her husband, and mother came along.
Denis needed something in the garage from Richard, but Richard wasn\'t back from work, so we sat at the table and had a coffee, waiting for him.
Then the mother 75 years old, in very good shape, tells me, that the other day she had thought about what had happened here, since 2 men went to her door, and she found it weird that the 2 of them would come to the door on such a windy stormy day.
She thought about me and my episode, then her son Denis who is big enough and built like a body builder, came to the living room, thats when the guys, saw him and they became uneasy, and he proceeded on asking what did they want, and one of the men says; there was a backo for sale around here last year.

BINGO ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The same excuse that the guy who did the invasion, had asked me the previous saturday, before coming back on the tuesday evening.

So they are still at it!!!!!!!

But something good came out of this, I\'ve got a description of the vehicle now, and the description of the men was the same as mine.

One dark complexion, dark eyes, that one I had only seen with a mask.
But they saw him live, and he is part Indian and part white, dark eyes.

The other one of course, short and red haid, ect....

So I called the detectives this morning, no call back yet.

Since he has a curfew, I will ask them to put him under survellance so they can catch him not home by 6pm, this way he will be put in jail until the court day.

Now for some reason my journal came out black, not sure what happened there, I also saw another previous one also black, might restore my computer.

Now that I know he is still up to no good, well I feel less pitty for the guy, and hope he gets arrested before the court, since I was told by my lawyer, that it might take a long time till it\'s settled.

In the meantime, I am home alone most of the time, scared. :(

Pray that they catch him please.

A month ago I was called to go in for a pics line up at the Police Station.

First, I spoke with one of the detectives, that had taken my statement,

that night at the hospital.

He explained to me, that they had 2 suspects, and that I would be filmed the whole time,

while I look at a total of 24 mug shots of men with reddish hair, brow, eyelaches.

When I came upon him, I lost it.

I started to shake, and tears fell down my cheeks,

it was him, he was looking at me,

from this photo.

There wasn\'t one doubt in my mind, it was that particular pic.

When everything we over,

I was told that it was the person

that everyone in the small city had thought it was.

Many of the parents of the kids who goes to school with my daughter,

saw and read the article in the paper,

and immediately came to the conclusion that it was R. R.

from the same small city.

You see the parents went to school with this man,

he is 39 years old.

So the word was out in that city that R.R. was the one who had invaded the house in east Hwk.

So when my daughter went to school on that monday,

she told her friend Jess,

hey John is a R. I\'ll ask him if he know a R.R.

so she did, and the young fellow

replied; yes it\'s my Dad.

So immediately my daughter found a conference room and call me all panicky.

I calmed her down, while I was on the phone with her,

her friend Jess, started to explain about the article,

in the paper,

and the young Lad,

replied I know Iknow, I knew it was my Dad,

but I didn\'t know it was Sammy\'s mom that got beaten.

So he was soo upset, since he loves Sammy.

I told my daughter to tell him it\'s ok, and that they shouldn\'t talk about it between them anymore.

The poor kid said his Dad was hidding since it happened, that he was always in the basement of his home on cocaine.

So when I saw the cops on the day of the pics line up,

I told them that the word on the street was the he was the one who came here.

Anyways, on the 23rd he was arrested with cocaine, and

they brought him in, for questioning,

and he was charged and kept in jail

until his bail hearing which was on the 24th,

then he was release with many condition.

One of them is to not be seen 100 yards from me.

He must live with his Dad.

Has to be in from 6pm to 6am.

No alcohol,

no drugs

no contact with drug affiliated people

no arms

or amunitions.

He will appear in court again on the 21st January, 09.

I don\'t have to go, its to read him and his lawyer or legal aid,

the charges he is charged with.

On the 22nd, I will receive a call from my Lawyer,

who will be paid by the Program to Victims of a Violent Crimes.

She will let me know when his next court day will be.

This one I still don\'t have to appear,

since it will be for him to give a plea.

If he says he\'s guilty,

I won\'t have to testify.

But if he says not guilty,

I will have to go in and testify at the trial.

I will be accompanated with the 2 detectives, 5 cops,

and my Lady lawyer,

I will be brought to a private room, so I have no direct contact with him.

Like if the guy as a head of his shoulder,

it would be in his best interest to plead guilty since I saw him and can identify him.

in a heart beat.

But who knows, in the meantime, I pray to God that I don\'t panic when comes the time for me to walk into the courtroom.

I will do my best to remain calm until then

cause my Lawyer told me it could take a long time, till it\'s all settled.

So I am taking it \"one day at the time \"

Thanks to everyone for your support.

It means the world to me.

Again, thank you.

Love

What a shame that they can\'t just twist his thumbs and get him to confess and turn in the other guy,..but we know that the world doesn\'t always work that east. however, if his lawyer has any sense he will convince him to confess and turn in the other guy for a lighter sentence....I\'ll pray for that for your sake.

It is a horrible ordeal you went through and for it to continue is truly sad but I know that you will struggle though and do whatever is necessary to prevent this from happening to others.

I\'m just so you are having to live through this until it is over. Fingers crossed they can bust him outta house past 6 - most criminals are so stupid they bust themselves.

Keep us updated and know that you are always in my thoughts even when I\'m helpless to help....

Dear Mck, I am so relieved for you that one of these men is now under arrest, and it seems that the other will soon be caught. You have been incredibly brave: I have had to give evidence - had to go to court. Luckily the accused changed his plea to Guilty at the last moment, so I was not actually called, which was a relief - but I was in the same room as him. As it turned out, I didn\'t feel as bad as I thought I would, and was not worried after it was over - I hope the same happens for you. Hug, JaneD.
