I have a cold
I spent yesterday buying a truck I wanted and need for house maintenance, giving my Mercury to my stepdaughter and visiting with them They came up here with roses and a beautiful necklace for me. I really like visiting with them. We walked down the alley and talked to the neighbors and walked back through the fields to look at the Beaver Dam. We climbed the gate into the pasture and stood under the very large balck oak under which I hope we will have J's Memorial service in May. It will be a lot of work. The neighbors say they will help and I think others will too, if I ask. I wish we would not have rain that day, but who knows? J really liked his home and I think holding the service behind the house is a good thing. I have no idea how many will be here. The church next door is loaning us their parking lot.
I was going to visit stepson and father-in-law today but since I have a cold and the father-in -law is sick again I stayed home in my bathrobe. Made pancakes for the puppies and have just been drooping around all day. I don't feel physically or emotiuonally very bad, just blah. I am somewhat worried by having quit my job. It has been 37 years of teaching and waitressing, odd jobs before that. How to adapt?
But for today I am okay. I am going to do a little housework and look into getting some medical insurance.
Hope and peace to all of you, always.
