i Had to remind my son

This morning started wonderful had some morning loving from hubby I was happy about the 4th of july parade coming up and my son was in a good mood helpful and happy (coming from a three year old that's great lol) and then he starts playing with a toy that he got in his happy meal last night and he said
"this toy is so cool I want to show it to papa!!"
Papa passed away two months after we lost his sister. so I got down on his level and said
"that's very nice hunny but you cant show it to papa"
his eyes got all teary and he asked "why not?"
"remember hunny papa is in heaven."
"why is he in heaven? why isn't he here?"
""because papa was very old and very sick. and he passed away. and now he is in heaven."
"did he go to the doctors . . . and die?"
"no the doctors tried to make him better but he was to sick. but he is in heaven with JoAnn and he is all better and watching over us. so he can see your toy and I think he would think its a very cool toy hunny!"
and my sister?"
"she would think its a very cool toy to!"
"ok!"
 
so now he is ok but im an emotional mess.
