I had an amazing Valentines day.
I am 25 years old I have dated a few times. It seems like every time I have had a boyfriend I never got taken out for Valentines day. I know most think its a commerical holiday but I have always wanted to be taken out just at least once. Last year my date was my mom. The year before that I was dating a guy who refused to take me out to dinner if we did go out to dinner I was the one who always bought. Don't get me wrong I don't mind paying for dates but I do have problems being the one who always does it. THe two years before that I suckered my guys friends to go out with me.
This year my boyfriend who I have dated since the end of June was so excited about it. He was planning it for months its wierd to find a guy that actally gets into it. He showed up at my house with a dozen white roses because he has given me red in the past so he went for a different color he also gave me a wonderful card. Then we went to the resturant called MCcullens which I am not really fond of but it was fine and my appitite was actally good I didn't get full after three bites like I usually do. After we got seated he excused himself for a second and he came back with this basket that he got wrapped at a floral place. Inside of it was box of dove milk chocolate truffles. There was two stuff animals inside of it one was wearing a beaufitful diamond necklace. The other bear was wearing a beaufiful diamond bracelet.
I told him when we first started dating to never buy me bracelets because my wrists are so small that its almost impossible to find one that fits and most place can't take links out of them. So while we were killing time for the movie to start we went to return the bracelet and pick out something else because i could just put the bracelet on without having to unhook it.
Well we tried on almost every bracelet in the store but by some miracle we found one that actally fits. Then we went to baskin robbins for some ice cream then we went to see the movie Just go with it. Which was so funny. It was a nice day I know we don't need special holidays for an excuse to show love but when you have never been taken out like that it was nice.
My pain level was down a little bit as well because I had been up since 2:00am so my body never really stiffen up so that was nice I ended up taking some pain meds around 5:00pm 30 minutes before he got there to get the pain minimal. I didn't have to take another set of them until towards the end of the movie for sitting so long so that was nice. Now its been snowing and raining and I slept all night and the pain came rushing back but its okay :)
Now this weekend I am going out of town Friday Saturday and Sunday for a sci-fi/fantasy convention. Going with my boyfriend and my best friend and her husband I am usually really bored at these things but its good to get out of town for a weekend. Then we are staying the night at another motel Sunday night because I have a doctors appointment monday morning at 8:00am and there is no point in coming back into town just to leave town again. My doctor appointment is two hours away so we will just stay the night sunday night and leave month. Well I have made this long enough for now I am going to get going.
