I Had a Dream and Thanked God When I Woke Up

Most, or, a lot of women dream of being with their husband holding hands, maybe just him standing there smiling. My dream was about my husband calling me to come to the shop for a ride home. When I got there, he was standing around with the guys and the boss. He says, "Well we're ruined. I hurt my back and the state says I can't drive anymore so I can't work. Now what?" I tell him it's all right, we'll figure out something even though my heart has dropped to my feet. Boss says forget about unemployment compensation, it'll never happen. I tell him, you'll have to apply for disability then, all the while knowing something like that is too much trouble for him, so I'll have to set everything up while trying to figure out how we are going to afford doctor bills, medication and food in addition to worrying if we'll have a place to live in the near future. All this is playing out in my head, while I watch him sleeping comfortably on his recliner in front of the TV. That's when I woke up. I hope his first wife is there to take care of things for him 'cause otherwise he's on his own.
