I got hit again, devastated
My really good friend Michalia helped so much when I lost Ray, she was there every time I needed a shoulder. Her husband James was also very helpful and supportive. James and Ray were hunting buddies and we were all good friends, attending birthday parties, BBQ's etc... together.
On Monday Michalia called me, she was upset because her and James had had a fight. I told her that if she needed to she and the girls could come to my house and stay the night. She has her own key to my place. Tuesday Morning she called me and told me that James never came home that night. A missing person's report was filed and he was found Tuesday at 12:30 p.m....dead from a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head.....suicide. Walking into her house and seeing that shell shocked face, and hearing them break the news to his two daughter just about killed me. I was just starting to get on an even keel, this has set me back so much. I am heartbroken for her and her kids and for losing a friend. I am trying so hard to believe that James has finally found the peace he sought and that he is now with Ray. I hope they are both hunting the perfect buck and it's a perfect hunt every time. Keep the campfire burning boys, someday we will all meet again.

Oh my gosh ! I gasped at your journal....cant beleive he killed himself.I feel very bad for all of you.Now, you will have to help her through this horrible journey.I just dont understand this world anymore...there is just too much pain here
i am still reeling from your journal entry,I can only imagine what your friend is going through right now given their last time together was a fight.She is going to need help not to feel guilt over this along with the shock and grief.Maybe DS will be a help to her in the future.This is such a sad story...it\'s unreal these things happen like this.But this is the world we live in I guess.Prayers
