I got a Wii Fit!
Things are looking up. Still have the cold, but I am not feeling bad anymore, just sniffly and it feels like it is breaking up. I am home and getting back into routines. Have to get back to the gym. It is raining cats and dogs but very cold. But we found a Wii Fit at Target yesterday, on sale! It is SO cool! My Wii fit age is 49. OK so not as bad as I thought. It measured my BMI. I was pretty upset with that. I knew I was overweight but did not think I hit the "obese" stage yet but I just hit it. So I really need to get back on track. I love the hoola hoops. I suck at it but it is so much fun, who cares? And the soccer ball thing. I am really no good at that. But it gives me something really fun to do on a rainy day. You know what? It is raining outside. Think I will go throw some sweats on and go play. Work is still rough though. Cutbacks, etc. More pressure to get more done with less. I guess that is the best way to put it. I love what I do and really can't afford to quit. But I just can't handle MORE stress. I am a perfectionist and can't stand the way I am doing my job now. Had a long talk with David. Still trying to sneak out the door every morning with something contraband. Today it was his Nintendo DS. What does he think we are? Stupid? Ugh. Then he goes and does things that are so mature. I guess this is all normal. I am really dealing with this a little better now than my husband. My husband is such a control freak. Well, I think over the next few days I need to:1) Make a list of my blessings2) Get back on track with going to the Y and my walks and exercise and 10,000 steps3) Get back to eating better & taking my vitamins4) Clean my office- organize, vacuum, dust5) Clean up my house a little this week6) Make a to-do list and prioritize7) Sit down with a calendar and make a schedule for work, exercise, reading, cleaning to try to fit in things I would like to do for me, myself. And focus on being more productive in less time. Hopefully I can make 2009 my best year yet. The happy and skinny me! Or should I say "Mii?" Oh yeah, speaking of Mii, that is a big trip. Can't wait to see my pudgy Mii lose some weight!

Awesome job, hubby bought one for me but I returned, I tried it out first at a friends but didn\'t think I would use but Jimmy has a Wii and I know I can use his boxing, etc. but he likes to play and loves making mii\'s ~ too cute. Great job on your list, know you can do it - prioritize and making a calendar is the best. I couldn\'t live w/o a calendar, forget everything. I feel the same, 2009 - a good year!
