I get by with a little help from my friends...

I'm back on the meds and doing wonderful :) I made it through my first week back on them. I talked to my dad and gave him some more information on BP and he's much much more understanding now. My mom is no longer giving me grief either (she thought I was making stuff up when it first arose). I got to go home for turkey day, and although my dad was off working in California, I got to see my three best friends (incl. my little cousin) and my mom and mamaw. It was a nice, short trip home. 28 hours-ish. I also bagged 25 bags of leaves---we ran out of leaf bags, haha. I was so happy to see everyone, but even happier to come back home to Jessica (my lovely girlfriend--for anyone who hasn't figured it out by now, I'm a lesbian). We've been together since our freshman year (we are both seniors) and I love her more each day. She has truly been my rock through all of this, and at the risk of sounding cheesy, she is my strength during the absolute darkest of times. We had a lovely day eating leftovers and watching tv. Next week is the last week of classes, and I have so much to do. We are also maxing out (weight lifting for softball) this week and I am nervous because I have lost so much strength since I had shoulder surgery in August. I'm just not quite as strong as I used to be--much of the reason being I lost so much weight since I was at my strongest (almost 25 pounds on a 5'1'' girl!). I'm feeling positive though...if I can get through this, I feel I can get through anything. I hope that attitude gets me through the GRE and into graduate school. ::crosses fingers::  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Things I am thankful for:Jessica, my best friend and soul mateMy parents, who have put up with me for 22 years, for better and worseMy little cousin Charley, who is the most positive person I know My beautiful baby cousin Sophie, who reminds me to make the world a better place Sound machine, for putting me to sleep at night Broccoli and cheese casserole, for being the only thing I have to eat but filling my tummy full.
