I finally have the A/C back up running....
Well, we had called everyone in the phone book and even had a few people say they would come out today and no one showed up. Finally found someone to come here and he fixed the problem with my AC. It was a blown transformer, cost $95.00. It was 6pm when the AC was working again. Out for 2 entire days and it is hot here. Now my hot water heater is not working. I had to give my daughter my last few bucks as she left out the door to go back to New Orleans. I was scared she wouldnt have enough money and she is a really good manipulator. She really needs to be in a 60 day treatment center and I fear she will end up dead before she grows up and sees she could have a life. She is an adult so my hands are tied. I did find out her boyfriend has a warrant in New Orleans and will most likely be picked up for it when they get there. His father called and told me all about how they both lie, etc. I guess with all the swaeting I did and then when the AC was back on I was running around trying to clean the house since I didnt do a thing for 2 days but sweat, now I have shoulder pain from hell. I love the peace here right now, but at the same time I miss my daughter and feel lonely. My hubby wont be home from work until about 3am.

It\'s hard when our kids get wrapped up in drugs and alcohol but we have to rememeber TOUGH LOVE. Tell them we love them but not support their habits in any shape, way or form, ya know? It\'s rough, I know. That telephone rings and they want money and you want to believe their latest story about why you should western union them some cash but you have got to say no. We go through it with it my husband\'s baby brother. He calls and cries and my husband wants to send him money and I say no and then he cries. Literally. All crying like babies. But my BIL is a drug addict and I refuse to take money from my family (we have 4 kids) to give to a drug addict. My husband can love his brother without buying his next fix. It\'s all very sad. The stories my brother-in-law comes up with when he calls asking for money are all very believable. He is a very good liar! We want to believe he\'s gotten sober,he a job, he just needs money to buy a car, if we could just send him the money he\'ll send it back as soon as he get his first pay check. All very believable, only it\'s not true. He buys drugs with it. Then 6 months later, tries the same story on another member of the family.
Anyhoo ... so glad you got the AC on!!!
Now. what the heck\'s wrong with the hot water? If it\'s not one thing it\'s another!!
Hey B, your plate is full. Give yourself a break and
recognize it is what it is. You cannot change anyone
only be the best exampleyou can be and give advice when asked. I think you are getting more positive.
Don\'t come down so hard on yourself. I would think
you have a lot to offer those you care for if they
would but accept it.Is it OK if I put you on my personal prayer list. I can see how the Lord has
helped me get thru junk...and I am so eternally
grateful. That heater will get fixed also.

I\'d rather have a cold shower than try to live in a hot room! I\'m sorry about your daughter....doesn\'t matter their age, we never stop feeling like we\'re trying to protect our baby.
