I felt Justin

Thursday I went to Springfield and on my way home I went by the cematary to see if Justin's headstone was there it wasn't I cleaned the base as I was getting up I could smell Justin's cologne that he wore all the time I did a full circle and was just smelling then I felt something on my shoulder I turned and said out loud Justin are you here? That's all that happen the smell of his sweet colonge went away and I  freaked out it was almost dark I got scared.I don't know if my mind wanted that to happen or it was Justin telling me hi.Something else thats been happening is when I do laundry I find a nickel in the washer I use to give him nickels way back when.I think maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.I want to see and smell those things so I'll never forget my sweet Justin. He was a colonge man when he got cleaned up you could smell him a mile away I think he got that from me I love perfume and sometimes wear to much.Rebecca said maybe his a ghost I don't believe in ghosts I do angels but I don't think they come back to earth until the judgement day I have to tell God that I couldn't save a life I let one of his children down.I do hope I don't get punished for it.I know you all say it wasn't my fault but I don't think you relize he asked me for help and I did nothing I LET HIM DIE.That's how I feel it's driving me into a corner.Peace to all.jfm24,Vicki

I don\'t believe it is his ghost, but his spirit. There is a difference. Read \"Talking to Heaven\", by James Van Praagh. It is pretty interesting. I understand about the guilt thing. I am working on it myself. But, from the pot to the kettle......it does neither of us any good. Call me anytime you want to talk. Peaceful wishes. Ginger

I agree with Ginger. I read that book and it helped me so very much! Also, we can blame ourselves, and do, until hell freezes over. All it does is make us feel worse. Why do that to yourself? Please be gentle to yourself. Beating yourself up over something you can\'t change doesn\'t make this any easier! I understand! Love you honey, Barbara

It is so hard for us to believe that there is more to life and death than we know. Why couldn\'t it be your son communicating with you...comforting you...reminding you that he loves you...these are gifts from heaven...love to you...Karen

I\'m sure our loved ones do try to communicate with us, but even if your experience was \'all in your head\' it sounds as if it was very real for you and that\'s all that matters. Cherish those moments, don\'t be afraid of them. No matter what the circumstances around a death, it would seem that the timing is ultimately out of our control. My Frazer broke his neck when he fell off his bike at low speed. Others have survived much much more horrific accidents, but he was taken. Only God can decide that, so don\'t be so hard on yourself, you didn\'t have the power to prevent his death no matter what you had done. Hugs, Charlotte.

I am not sure about loved ones(who have passed on) trying to communicate with us. I have tried to have some kind of communication with my dad and not much happens-although I often get remembrances of him through songs on the radios or visiting place we use to go to. Maybe the nickels just happen to show up in the washer and they triggered a memory you had of him. Whether the cologne was real or not-it was real to you(and as FJsMumsaid)-that is all that matters. Nothing wrong with having some happy memories or experiences of him like the cologne and nickels. Please Vicki be kind and gentle to yourself! Jason wouldn\'t want you to feel so guilty about his death. Love you!:0)
