I feel better today

I feel better today.  Maybe it's the Celexa kicking in, but I feel like I can cope for right now.  Tomorrow may be different, but for today, for right now, I feel ok.

Off to a grad party - alone. No one knows and now I have to face the questions - Where\'s Jeff? But I\'m going because it\'s getting me out of the house. I\'m just going to tell them he moved out 2 months ago and say this is not the time and place to talk about it. A grad party is a celebration - don\'t want to bring everyone down. On my own and it stinks. But I\'m going.

I hope you have a great time at the party- it will be quite difficult though. I have been thinking about that coming up this year with my son- his senior football banquet and graduation. You can do it though. Be strong!

When my son graduated in June we came seperately. My husband called me when he got there and asked if I had saved him a seat. I didn\'t but there were plenty of seats around my daughter and I so he sat with us. A friend of ours sat in front and she knew the situation. Afterwards she called me and she found it wierd that he acted as if nothing was wrong. He talked and laughed and just acted as if we were still a family. It\'s almost as if I never existed as his wife. Like he wiped all those memories away. At one point he even tried to tell me about his Turkey hunt - like we were old friends. I can\'t be his friend - not just his friend right now. It\'s like he turned off a switch where I\'m concerned. Hard to handle.

That sounds like exactly like what my husband would do too! (like everything is ok and expect me to save him a seat)- I told him how could he break up our family like this and his answer was he wasn\'t breaking up our family- duh? They don\'t get it at all! He called me to see if we made it home safely from our college visit and how did it go and what did we do- as if everything was fine. I think he thinks that we will just be great friends during and after this and there is no way possible for that to ever happen. Keep holding on- we will make it thru this mess!
