super cold out - about 42 degrees. very odd for november. not doing much of anything. made a real dinner, pasta with chicken and MIDS sausage sauce with salad. YUM!so this is what its like when life is paced and after work you go straight home.lol. been "pacing" for over a year now. really have no choice since its because of health.
morris is still okay, talked to rn in the a.m. i checked his sister who also has the thin thing happening. there is no fleas and no anemia. wth? they are leuk and fiv negative. its so weird. there are no ear mites. kidney disorders can cause weight loss?
the new bottlefeeder called as well. i give the referral 24 hours and then we will see. most of the time you can't refer people anywhere. there will be a clash, same as sales with customers, you have to stick with one salesperson or you lose the sale.always amazes me if a referral actually works out or is a good fit. with the group west of here, i specifically told her husband to call and let me know if they weren't going to do the store. so i can find someone else for that store if not. no call. assume all is fine. talk to the store and NOPE, they are a no show. what else is new.
i also let one of the womenwho hasa group that does animal rescue as a "career" with pay know. she didn't want the store. surprised she didn't want to expand since it is in an area close to where she lives. i told her don't relay it to the group south of here that causes trouble. its a nice store, why turn it into a drama?
then the store calls and guess who she immediately called? the asshole group. wtf? if you say anything she will say she "forgot" or had diarrhea of the mouth. guess so. huh? it gets worse. she was donated a bunch of money -- they call large donations "wins" like its a contest. 501's go through this yearly if they aren't a foundation with a steady flow of cash.
the place that donatedthe money told her specifically NOT to share it with the group south of here. so she posts on her page that she gave HALF of it to this group that is always causing trouble EVERYWHERE they go. omg! and serious trouble. breaking into homes, committing fraud, stalking people, using credit card numbers, home invasion, going after people's banking information - serious crime.
so the place that donated is like, you GAVE them half of it, even after we specifically told you not to. the truth with something like that, is she should return the money in full to them and they can choose another group. there are zillions of 501's who need a donation like thatand who wouldn't stab them in the back. very sad.

wow that is awful about the donations thing I had no idea things are so messed up. Don\'t know why but some kittens just don\'t thrive. I hope the kittens don\'t continue to loose weight. yeah, its like one of the kitties went to the new house. it knows me WELL, but is hiding anyway. when i tried to force it from hiding to pick it up and i figured, okay, if you don\'t like the new house i\'ll bring you back and another one can try it here (ultimately, most will be there if the acreage thing works out), but it clawed me and ran. i was stunned. at my house it gets picked up all the time and sleeps with the other kitties and is so nice and friendly. haven\'t figured out what to do with that. i wish i could read their minds for real.
