I don't even know...
I'm at Patrick's house right now and I want to talk to him and say so many things, but I can't get the words out right. There's so much that I want to say to him right now because I'm sick of how we keep getting into these scuffles or little arguments. It's so aggravating. I can't explain it, it's like I feel as though I'm walking on eggshells half the time that we hang out. Like I'm afraid to say something wrong or do something wrong, or not necessarily wrong but just anything that would set him off. I hate it!! It seems like it happens at least once with every conversation that we have and I feel like I'm being singled out or pointed out as being awkward, weird, or stupid or something. I know he doesn't mean for me to feel that way, but I feel that way around him. As though I can't truly be myself around him, whatever that is, because I feel like I'm being judged. Sometimes when it gets really bad it feels like I'm in an interrogation room when he questions me so much about things, even little things like just now when I was wanting to go buy some headphones for my friend for his birthday, he started questioning my reasoning behind it which left me stunned because I wanted to get them for my friend because I know he wants some. and then it turned into this whole big unnecessary discussion about why I'm getting headphones for him. It's so freakin' aggravating I just hate it when this happens. To him it's like I'm being the unreasonable person and not having any clear thoughts and not using logical thinking. I don't even know anymore. Even Dave (my other best friend aside from Patrick) said that we seem to have arguments every 5 or 6 months. I just don't want any arguments at all. I don't understand it. Maybe Crystal was right about what she said about him with walking on eggshells and not wanting to be friends with someone like that. It's not that I don't want to be friends with him, it's just so hard to constantly have to feel the way I do when I'm around him. I want to tell him how I feel, but I don't know if he'll understand. I don't know how to say these things to him because when I try to do so or try to think about what I'm going to say I just draw a blank. We had a small talk about it and he admittedly said how he knows he can be intimidating sometimes, and he is in some ways. It's not like he can hurt me or ruin my life if I were to express how I feel. The worst that could happen is that he would not understand me, or get offended, or even worse we'd just not be friends anymore. I don't know what to do. I'm just sick of it. I'm sick of feeling like less of a person, or looked down upon. I know he doesn't think of me in that way, but a lot of the times it sure does feel like it is that way though.
