I don't care again
Ok. I am recovered. Part of my issues have to do with feelings of resentment towards partners at the martial arts school I belong to. When they are new you are like a father to them, but when they advance they become like brothers, and I know I am a great parent in that context but I make a poor brother. So I researched some and found that one must compare each personal achievement with those from your own past and never to other people's achievements, to avoid feelings of inferiority and resentment towards siblings. This helped me a lot.
Other experience that helped me is that I was teaching the kiddi class when I called the attention of a young boy who was rolling over the mat in the wrong way. I was hard on him, I have to because if they go wrong they can harm themselves when doing other advanced excersices. The boy's eyes where full with tears and he looked at his father all afraid. When the class was over I meditated about the situation and thought I must have explained the boys and the parents that even when you call their attention it is ok to make mistakes, that it is normal if it takes a lot of practice to percfect your moves or at least improve, and that they are very brave for trying. I wish I had explained them that then. But I can do that to my "siblings" at the grown-up class. They are like kids after all and there it is the chance to help them and guide them without making them cry never again.

:) It is hard being called out for something when we are really young and the boy just did not understand. I think that if you explain to him and his parents as you did here they will understand. You seem to really care and to be introspective. It\'s nice that you are realizing what caused some of the resentments and moving past it. :) Thumbs up.
