I Do Not Care
Morning sickness that lasted all day... I do not care I killed the rabbit… I Do not care... I feel you move... A gentle flutter… Right under my heart... You're imagining things… Its not her... Its too soon... but I know better So I ignore them... I do not care Blood of my blood... flesh of my flesh I laugh… I cry… it is all about you... People stare... I do not care Oh my beautiful daughter… What an ugly world... It doesn't matter You had me.... I had you... Why should we care.... Through the years... the ups and downs I love you… I am so grateful for you... Oh my children, you and your brother My reason for living.... The world can be so ugly I do not care... Problems arose... you were angry at times with me... It did not matter I loved you… We found ways to heal… Shut out the world.... We do not care... I will mourn forever your earthly passing… Fight to breathe, not to cry, not to dwell…All the days I had you a part of my life… I search my memories and again I hear… your voice I feel your touch I see you… You are here You are loved You are Cherished I accept it will hurt forever… I will cry I do not care… I Am Cara's Mom Do not tell me to get over it... I will not hear you... I do not care...

Beautiful...thank you for sharing
Family and friends should understand this, yet how can they get the depth of this horror. Sending you lovexoxoxox
How beautiful. You expressed what I am sure most of us feel. No, we will never get over it.
Love and hugs, Marlene
Thanks for sharing these words and thoughts. Much love. Robin
I so feel the pain in this and yet, we would never have given up knowing our precious children in order to avoid the pain. The word that jumps out at me is accept. It is so hard to accept but we do and learn to live with the pain, the sorrow but also the joy that they gave us. Hugs, Belinda
Powerful words!
