I'd Appreciate A Prayer

Unfortunately, my left eye pretty much has failed me since my cataract surgery in July.
I got more bad news this morning... My right eye is failing also.  They took my drivers license from me... a medical suspension... my right eye was really bad this morning when I went to get my license replaced... I knew I felt like my vision was impaired on the way over Richard and I had been talking about it...
Their eye test showed that I have 20/70 vision in my right eye... none in my left... which I basically knew about my left... but I was caught off guard about my right eye... I had an eye test less than two weeks ago and my right eye I had 20/40... anyway... the situation is deteriorating rapidly...
I'm more than a little stressed about it.  I don't even really know how to deal with this right now.  I want to cry but on the other hand its like... why cry... it won't help...
I had been hesitating about having a cornea transplant... thinking it was a shame to spend so much money on myself as long as I could see well enough with my right eye... but now that I'm looking at things getting even worse I'm anxious to get the cornea transplant right away.
The guy who suspended my license this morning was very nice.  He has been having to deal with vision problems too.  He actually had a cornea transplant in his left eye about two years ago... he said he has 20/30 vision in that eye now...
He said that it took about a year for his eye to heal... I asked him how he dealt with it...  He said for about 4 months he stayed at home and was kind of depressed... but he did finally get used to having only his right eye working... and he got back to work and now as I said he has like 20/30 vision in the eye...
He has the same eye problem in his right eye and now his right eye is getting increasingly worse and he is on a list for a cornea for his right eye... so... I guess if you have one eye working you have to wait an indeterminate amount of time to get a cornea for the second eye... I'm blind in one eye and headed that way for the second so I don't know how they will handle that.  Maybe they'll get me a seeing eye dog... I like dogs...  As far as the computer goes... that scares me... I so look forward to getting online everyday...  Like I said... I'm no longer hesitant about whether or not I want a cornea transplant... I just want in like yesterday...
Its kind of awful to think of but right now it seems like my only hope.  Well I've burdened you long enough.  Thank you for your prayers and I hope you'll keep praying as I really could use a miracle.  Hugs Elissa Cara's Mom For Always
