I CAN\'T BELIEVE IT...HOW DID I EVER DO IT??????!!!!!!!

6 m.onths since my last cigarette was yesterday....How did I ever do it?????? First, I would like to thank my Dr., DR. Michael Atherley,PA. who prescribed the nicotene gum and was approved by my insurance, Provided by the State of Iowa. Second, I would like to thank the State of Iowa and the Quitline Iowa Program for the support they have provided by approving the medciation and my enrollment and encouragement from the Program Counselors. Third, I would like to thank myself for trying to control my anger and stressful situations with positive self-talk, etc.  (((((((HUGS))))))) and a GOOD JOB, JON! I will give to myself because I basically had no internal help (family), so it was up to me alone to quit and stay quit! Today it is 6 months and 1 day.  But it is more than that, and it is more than numbers every day...It is about being on the road for the next 6 months without having a cigarette...The hardest part is over, I have scaled the mountain, and now comes the vally of peace, and green pastures...and extra money being saved up! Oh, and thank you, DS, for holding me accountable for the first 6 months! Love, Jon XOXOXOXOOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX(((((HUGS))))OXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
