I can't believe I lost 3 lbs!

I can't believe I lost 3 lbs last week!  Woo Hoo!  After all of those months of not losing anything, bouncing back and forth between 156 lbs and 154 lbs, I weighed myself today and I am at 151 lbs!  Total shock!  I was praying, praying, praying for 152.  So today, it is official.  I have hit 15 lbs lost.  My exercise last week was incredible, and I know that is what really helped.  77,754 steps for the week, an average of 11,108.  There was one day I only got 6700 but several over 13,000.  Here I was two nights ago at 11:30pm (note my pedometer goes to "0" at midnight.)  And my pedometer says 8700 steps.  Crap!  I quick hopped on my Gazelle in my room and kicked butt, praying I got to 10k by midnight!  Last night, I went to bed at 11:45pm and crap again, said 9700 steps.  So I was really quick walking circles around my room and got to 10,031 by midnight.  Phew!  My food this week was good, better than the last couple of months.  I went to Target yesterday and got some high fiber oatmeal, Fiber One bars, etc.  Will be getting some fruits and veggies at ths store later today.  I have to set myself up to succeed.  My water was just ok.  So that is an area for improvement.  The other area I want to focus on this week is my abs.  I am giving myself a mini goal of bender ball, 5 min a day, 7 days.  I did 405 min of exercise this week!  3x at the YMCA, cardio and weights, stretching, leg lifts and a lot of walks.  I even got on the Gazelle a couple of times.  So I am not really going to change anything this week except a little better focus on water and abs.Just finished reading Valerie Bertinelli's book, Losing Weight.  Read it in 1 1/2 days.  Very inspiring.  And interesting to see a lot of similarities in our insecurities and why we gained weight, etc.  Well, gotta go.  Will catch up with everyone later.  Have to take David to N's house to cut the grass and then off to Mom's to see the movie "Up" in 3D.  I will also check in at Weight Loss Buddies, and update there later as well.  I was just too excited to wait to slide my slider!

That\'s what I am praying for! 149 lbs is my lowest weight since early 2003, so over 6 years ago. Anything lower than that and I am probably going back 10 years. I think a few more lbs and I can get in my size 12\'s, FINALLY!

Awesome Job - So very proud of you. You did it!!! Sounds like an amazing day you had, glad all went great. Glad David has been a great help. Bet the sunroom looks great! Keep it up, don\'t give up. It\'s a very tough thing to do and I know you can do it. Stay positive and just keep on movin. Sorry I haven\'t been able to keep in touch more, I do think about you though. Not doing my best, can\'t get out of this rutt, not sure what my problem is but will get after it here and get back on board with ya. You will be in the 140\'s in no time - YOU GO!!!!! Hip Hip Hooooray! Oh, I love Valerie, I should get her book, people with the same issues as us and normal. You have been rockin your steps, whoo hooo!

Yay!! Way to go!! That is super exciting.
You sound like me, trying to get over 10,000 steps at 3 minutes to midnight. One night I was only at 7,000 steps at 11:30 pm and hubby was still awake so I went for a jog!! Me! Jogging! Tonight I was doing a grapevine step in front of the tv to get over the 10K mark at 11:50 pm. lol Good job on getting those steps in! You are rocking it!
