I can do anything
I have been through a lot of stuff in my life, as have we all.
I have been thinking about the work I have done and I Can Do Anything:
I began taking care of babies/children when I was 10 years old. I was a highly desired babysitter in my neighborhood. People fought to get me.
I have mowed sod fields on Kent Island with a 5 gang mower, with zero instruction. I was told to do it, and I did. I had no fricking clue how to run that tractor.
I can garden and raise food like crazy.
I ran a kennel for a few years and got trapped in a run with two vicious chows and survived it.
I loved that job, until I didn't. They let me run it all and the house when they went out of town. They trusted me so entirely.
I am a great retailer.
I had a wonderful job selling sporting goods, and that was something I knew little about but I learned that business from the downside up. What we sold was so amazing I can't even put words to it. We had the Washington Redskins. We had all the local school systems under our belt. There was not one person in the American military who wore a ball cap that did not come from us, if it was military given. I busted my ass on that contract. I loved that job but gave it up when my daughter was born.
I totally rock at small business. I have no desire to enter a corporate environment.
So there we go.
