I been sober 1 week!
I can't believe I have gone one whole week with no drinks at all! I do not even remember going that long any time in the last 5 years. I always would say I would quit and go right back in about 2 days, then feel like shit. It is hard for me to not drink, but I admit I do feel better. It is not a good feeling to have a hang over, stomache ache, mentally out of it etc

I used to do the same thing and then 1 day I decided on my own, not court orderderd LOL! I felt so good, quit for 9 mos, but again something happened and I am thinking \"I can control this\" Wrong!!! You too will think you can control it. Do not give into it, because you will in just a short time, be right back where you were a week ago. I am so proud of you, I am only 2 days behind you. I know as soon as I can I will start meetings, they really are helpful! You will eventually hit what is called \"THE PINK CLOUD\" it is very euphoric & you willl feel great.Meetings are really helpful, they have all womens groups. call your local AA\'s. Look in phone book for major# and they will send a booklet with all the places in your area & times. Keep up the good work. God Bless
