I ate a big grasshopper today...
There are bands of locusts eating every plant in sight.... I went over to my row of soy plants thinking I'd have a healthy raw lunch of green soy beans. Most of the pods appeared plump and tasty at first glance, but apparently I got sick and depressed at just the right time and didn't water them as the pods were filling out. The pods were just full of air and shriveled embryos...I found like 5 or six soybeans that were edible.....I immediately thought of "if i could eat locusts i would have food for life haha"...I then googled the correct way to eat a grasshopper(removing head and digestive tract first), and I ate several. They tasted surprisingly like a nut or a less sweet soybean. The slimy texture mixed with the crunchy exoskeleton was a bit odd, but they did fill me up nicely. anyways...that's that

they didn\'t even think to do that in little house on the prairie. booya bitchy bull shittin\' bugs, try to fuck our food train up nuu uhh
It\'s also hilarious that brighamitemormons claim that god saved them from famine by sending sea gulls to eat the swarms of \"mormon crickets\"(actually a large katydid) so the crickets wouldn\'t eat their crops. Mainly because had they just caught, cleaned, and dried the hordes of large insects, they would have probably had more food(and healthier) than if their crops just produced an average harvest.
