I appreciate

I appreciate what everyone commented.....I did not write that in order to make others feel the need to ask me to stay.....I wrote it as something that I was asking myself......None of you have hurt me with your responses.....to the journal on the book "beyond tears".......and each has our on feelings............
I would like to say....
I am not on this group for DEBATES
I am not on this group to ARGUE
I am not on this group to PUT ANYONE DOWN
I am not on this group to ATTACK ANYONE
I am not on this group for conflict...it is about the last thing I can handle..

I came to this site because of the PAIN I feel of the loss of my child....
I come to this group because of the support I get from others in the same situation as I am that give me comfort....
I come to this group...to read your journals...to share...and to learn...
I come to this group cause of the love that is shown.....
I come to this group because of what you all have to offer me....
Without this group....Last year I don't know where I would be....I might be dead as we all know we just so much want to be with our children...
Without this group...I would miss so many friends I have met..... and have come to lo
I come to this group not only because I can talk about my son....but I learn too....I have learned from Abby so much about her faith.....I have learned from Nora how much music means to her life, I have learned from Leda how wonderful pets can be.....I have learned from Dale that even through our deepest sorrow....we can hold each other up......and keep God at our focus.....I have learned from others so much.....I have learned that these thoughts I have are normal cause a lot of us have them on here.....I have learned it is okay to hurt, cry....ask why.....Mostly,
I have learned that there are mom's that will share their hearts with you and show you love no matter what.....because not only did I lose a child others have lost a child or children.....
FMO  I have learned to know a woman that I never met that never met me that put her heart and soul into a site that would be there for me that one day that I needed it....that even though she had lost her son.....she was suffering cancer that took her as her body gave out.....a woman that put everyone else first in her life....because she knew what it felt like to lose a child....so she took her pain....she built something that a mom sometime down the road would be searching for someone who knew what it felt like to lose a child would stumble upon and a place that would help them through the roughest days of their lives.....I learned that this woman's name is Barbara and without her, I do not not where I would be...With her and the mom's on this site I have made it a year and Half.....which I never thought I could do.....and I still have a long way to go before or when this pain will become less.....but for me this is what this site has meant to me......
For all the mom's that I did not list your name's.....such as missinglisa, heartsand hands...so  many friends that I can not even name that has helped me through the struggles this past year....and half.....this horrible pain....this is what this site means to me....
May God continue to bless this site......May there be a mom and another mom that will help each and every mom when they need it...I feel that I have gotten help from every mom that I have talked with, shared with, responded
with....this is what
FMO MEANS TO ME.....

Thank you for sharing what FMO means to you. I know that it has been one of my strongest healing tools for almost three years and I continue to learn and grow from each of you. This was Barbara\'s vision and we are now living and embracing it daily. Peace and comfort for all our healing hearts. XO Joanie

Sandi, I am behind on journals, but just finished reading your last few journals. So sad...but thank you for sharing you heart with us. Yes, FMO is all of the above you have written. We lean on each other, we hold each other up and we continue to share with others that understand us like no one else could ever possibly understand. Thanks for being there too! Love & Hugs, Kim

Sandi...these are all true components of what makes sharing our grief so important to healing. We are able to get hope and strength from other moms who are hurting...sad as that is. I have made such good friends here even though it is the saddest introduction to friendship I could ever know. Thank you for sharing your heart.....love, dale....brandon\'s mom

I\'m a fairly new comer to FMO and didn\'t know who started it, but I do know that I\'m grateful to that person, now I know her name -- Barbara. It sounds like you are leaving FMO in your note. I hope that is not true. We need each other, I know I do. Sending love, Terry

After reading today\'s journal (6/22) I read this one, which was just excellent, and with which I agree totally. We all have much to learn from each other. I also went back and read the entire story of your first husband\'s cancer story. Sandi--your writing is rivetting--although the story is sad and I\'m sorry you went through so much pain even before losing Ken. It really doesn\'t seem fair that you\'ve had to go through all this twice. But we both know it\'s not about \"fair.\" God has his reasons.

You did say your story was still to be continued. I hope you will have the emotional energy to finish it. With much love and encouragement, Cherie

I hope to continue my story of my Family and the Cancer...I feel...I want to write it as it really was....with Father\'s Day I was so sad and crying that thinking is not clear enough to write more yet....and I have had my grand daughter and then I go the flu...so it has been a rough week or so since I last wrote the story to be continued....Love to all that respond and read my journals...Sandi
