I AM VERY DEPRESSED...:(

I am very dpressed...It's been 6 months since my husband's passing and I am in the ditch..Not only am I dealing w/ his death but am also estranged from my children and have no family..Have lived basically a pretty tragic life and it's all just really wighing on me..I am pretty isolated for the most part..and have no energy to go on...I am very depressed and really don't want to be in this world. There is too much pain and evil in this wrold and I just hate it and I wish I wasn't here...and before at least my had my husband to bring me some comfort..but now I am all by myself...I don't know what to say..Am not interested in mind altering drugs..I do take some herbals for stress/relaxation..(I have tried a number of drugs in the past and am strongly against them..) I am a born again Christian...and my trust is in Jesus..but am just in a real pit of sadness right now..and hopelessness..I do believe this too shall pass...if I can just hold on..but I just don't know if I can...I hate this world...not the people in it..just all th evil...I don't know if I want to continue in this place...Please do pray for me that God will restore my peace and my joy...thank you..

I will surely pray that God will restore your peace and joy Marguerite! I\'m sure you know I lost m husband eight months ago. I have a daughter and her beaux who have moved in with me to help with the mortgage or I would lose my house.

The fact that you know the Lord is what is going to get you through this. I also am hoping that you know about Griefshare and can find a group in your area. This group of people that meet once a week, and go through this program together is becoming my new \"family\'! We have all just loved a loved one.

Six months in is like it just happened yesterday, right? You betcha. Sometimes it seems to be harder to be without my husband now, than it was when he first died and there was a lot going on around me. Once the dust settles, people just assume ASSUME, that we\'re doing ok, getting on with life.....they couldn\'t be more wrong.

I know the pit you are in. I got sent there on Valentine\'s Day and haven\'t quite pulled out at all! I have Griefshare tonight. Hopefully that company, the video, discussion, sharing with friends will lift my spirits. Grief is a strange thing. It is different for all of us. I feel your pain, Marguerite! I really do.

You MUST be involved in something! I mean like your church! These people will carry you, keep you company, pray for you. If you have a church....get there. If you don\'t, you need to find a good Bible based, gospel preaching church to help you recall and learn to cling to the Lord and His promises right now.

They say it will get easier in time. I\'m sure this is true, but right now, I understand why you\'re in the pit, and nobody who cares about you will try to rush you out of it. Pray, pray, pray! I will pray for you. Now is the time to draw closer to God. He WILL provide comfort and strength for you. And get involved in a group....anything, but please don\'t isolate. We need the presence of other human beings in our lives.

I hope that my babbling on here, isn\'t too much to hear. It\'s early in the a.m. and I\'m awake and weepy. Just know that I am here for you....praying!!

How are you doing now honey? I do understand. I lost my mother a year ago this month on the 8th and my Uncle 3 months ago. And I\'m about to lose my best friend and next door neighbor to Throat Cancer. It\'s not easy. I\'m here if you need someone to talk to.
