I am thankful

Sometimes I get frustrated that the meds don't work for me, when for most people they seem like an easy fix.  I am envious of my friends who just decide to get have a baby and --poof! they are pregnant.  I take such good care of my health in all ways, and it's frustrating to have this "thing" that I just can't get under control even after 14 years of doctors and meds.
BUT, mostly I am thankful.  Thankful for my wonderful, supportive husband.  Thankful to have good insurance that allows me to see good doctors.  Thankful to have the means to pay for my meds.  Thankful that having a family is still an option, even though it might still be a ways off.  Thankful that despite my prolactinoma, I am otherwise a healthy, happy, and successful person.
I am often reminded that no matter how frustrated I get with my situation, my life could be SO much worse.
