I am still here!!!!
Hi everyone,
Please forgive me for not being here for sooooo long, you all have still been in my prayers and my heart. Life has had me either down completely or go go going. In all honesty I am unable to remember anything really before April 10th. That was the day I started at the University. My pc is the top internal med Dr at the clinic, she is gruff at times but I shocked her in the very 1at day. She asked me towards the end of the appointment what my goal was. I didn't hesitate and said "l want to fix as many of the things that are wrong with me no matter what it takes but most important is get off as many meds as I can as I hate taking so many let alone any." The look on her face was priceless she stood up, clapped then shook my hand. She said I was the first patient she has ever had that wanted off meds!
At this time I am or have seen 26 Doctors, PA's or NP's. I have 3 from cardiology, 3 from pulmonary, 2 from gastro,1 endocrinologist, 1 endorologist so far, 1 integral med Dr., 1 Psychiatrist, 1 psychotherapist, 1going on 2 as first one is out on an emergency medical leave indefinitely pain management dr., 1 sleep dr, 1 ortho for shoulders only, 1 nephrologist, 1 urologist, pcp and her NP, 1 pharmocologist, 2 anesthesiologists, plus some physical therapists.
We have gotten to where I have to monitor my blood pressure and diet plus try to get some excersize in for cardiac. Have to have a colonoscopy, and see a special end o Dr about the chronic pancreatitis plus need to do another empty stomach test. Am on a

Way to go for taking care of yourself and I hope that life in-between those visits has brought you some moments of pause. When one is not well physically it compounds everything else, I know.
Glad you checked in and please continue to as you are able.
Gentle care and (((hugs))) to Jerred's mom from Douglas and me.

Hi Susie, I'm glad your doctor is listening and appreciates that you don't want to be on a lot of medications.
I hope your conditions improve and that you & your doctors can reduce your medications and that you feel better!
Good to hear from you. Love to you and dearest Jerred, Linda
Sounds like you're on the right track for taking charge and taking care of yourself.
Wishing you the very best~
