I am scared to death anxiety higher then ever
I have been going thru self evaluation and making some rather dramatic decisions in my life that in the long run should be positive but currently has put me in one step from panic attack. My medical issues are too many to list only saying my situation is anything but normal. Very traumatic childhood, numerous marriages, abused alcohol for about 5 years and have not drank for 30 plus years. Have dealt with pain for 30 plus years. Have hiv and hepc which does not help with the pain. I have ulcers so antiinflammatories are not acceptable. Have been on narcotics for too many years to count. Pain was/is a real issue. I have developed cognitive thought issues causing confusion, insomnia, falls, increased depression on and on. After many prayers and self evaluation I have made the decision to get off my narcotics and try to deal with my pain in alternative ways. My biggest support system is my God and prayers. I am being very open about this decision letting friends on facebook, at church and here know about my decision to help with accountability and support. I do not want one pill for another. I really would like to learn to control, accept, ar lessen my pain thru other means. Between hiv, hepc, ulcers, depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, and numerous other dx I am a walking pharmacy. I am looking forward to finding out what other meds I may be able to stop find to stop or decrease the pain once I am off the narcotics. I seem to have a supportive medical team that is open to alternative medi cal care. My biggest fear and anxiety is that nothing will work and I won't be able to get pain meds bavk. If that doesn't show a lack of faith then what would. I am asking for those that believe in prayers to say some for me, support thru this decision and any suggestions you may . I also will be exploring possible narcotics any amount for help. Needless to say I have one more day to work on my anxiety . I am making out what medical field calls a treatment plan listing items to work on to assist me in this major decision. I also need to not over do things so I get exhausted and create my own pain. Thank you everyone for your support.
