I am Having a BLAST....

I have been having so much fun messing with stuff in the kitchen. I started painting the hutch. I am painting it a powder blue. I painted the 1940s bread box the same color. I am so happy to see that dark RED GO BYE BYE. I is a harsh and upsetting color. The kitchen curtains/ white  / are up and the blue is so calming. 

I will let Anna help me paint the hutch. I have the paint and have a white to paint the knobs.

I watched a number of youtube vids today on how to do a backsplash w/ peel n stick. It looks nice. I know that it's not permanent but in ten years if I am still here... I will be ready to change it any way. And it's a solution that is not intrusive nor ripping up stuff. I think it might be an option. Some ppl think it looks cheap. But omgosh. It's better than what I do have. And then I think Anna can paint the cabinets. I think she can sand and do all of that w/ no problem. I will just study the "how to's" and get the stuff she needs. 

I am having a lot of fun. I stenciled the canisters for the kitchen and just been messing around. My energy was low, but I managed to bet a few things done. Yee haw.
