I am going to go back to school
I know that I plan to go back to school. I have to take the College Placement Test (CPT). The CPT rates your knowledge of reading comprehension, English, and arithmetic. This test is important because it will tell them What level of education I have. The lower you score the more classes I have to take. I haven't even talked to anyone at the school because I did this test before their so I know what to expect. I am pretty sure that I will have to retake this test because it has been over 10 years since I took it. I scored low last time and they gave me like 2 years of extra classes. Which I think sucks because they did not inform me on this test and I was unprepared when I took it. If anyone sees this Please give me suguestions on How to prepare.

I\'m sure there are some prep books out there for this test, so that might be worth looking into. Beyond that I don\'t have much other help to offer, sorry. Though I will say good for you for going back. I was just finishing up my second semester towards my master\'s degree when my wife got sick in December. I obviously took the spring semester off and had been planning to take the summer off as well to spend time with her as she was expected to be home. Now I\'m trying to figure out what I want to do about going back. My motivation is low at this point to return, mainly because it will be tough to fit into my schedule between a full time job and being around for my 3 year old daughter. However, my wife was very happy and proud that I went back to school so she is going to be my driving force. I want to finish what I started to make her proud. Good luck!
Hey sweetie. I replied to the post in depression and I know Pepperman had some links for you to go to. I don\'t have any suggestions, considering I am a dinosaur and haven\'t been in school since the dinosaur ages, but I\'m proud you are going back to school. Hope you find the help you are looking for!

Thanks to the both of your comments and you are right jrp about finding a motivating force. I believe sometimes you have to push yourself and the motivation will come later. It is hard to get started in everything I do, But when I make myself get started I see progress and that turns into the motivating force.
