I am DISCOMBOBULATED with anxiety today
Don't you just love that word? DISCOMBOBULATED. It sounds like what it is--your mind being all messed up with worry!
I had what is called "limited" Medicaid in Virginia. It doesn't pay me anything toward medical bills, but it has been paying my MEDICARE PREMIUM for me, which I understand is more than $100 now.
Well I was shocked and horrified to get a letter telling me I was turned down this year and my Medicare Premium will no longer be paid.
If over $100 comes out of my social security check, I will need to MOVE from this senior bldg.
Fortunately, I have the right to APPEAL.
Please, friends, send your prayers and good energy.
On a positive note, we had our annual Watermelon Feast with Spitting Contest yesterday afternoon and it was fun! Guess who won first prize? A 95 year-old minister.
Thanks, everyone. Blessings.

I\'m afraid of my own health insurance, so I definitely hope \"good vibrations\" for you.
To try to be upbeat, I really do play that beach boys song regularly.
A week ago I received a $60 doctor bill, after govt deductible; every 6 months I have to go to dr to get blood pressure medication refills.
Maybe there\'s a legal aid lawyer you can talk to for free, or maybe welfare can help you with some insurance program?
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!
I was thinking the same thing as penntucky....legal advice! Sending those prayers that you get this matter settled in your favor.
DISCOMBOBULATED - have not heard that word since my Dad was alive. Thanks for the memory.
I can\'t believe that denied you. Sending good thoughts your way
It\'s been a long time since I heard Discombobulated. :).
Yes, \"discombobulated\" tended to be an old-fashioned word, even when I was a teenager. I remember my aunt laughing about it.
I believe what has caused me to be turned down is a change in my caseworker. The new one didn\'t contact me and probably didn\'t get my paperwork turned in! SO I AM PRAYING FOR A FAVORABLE RESOLUTION ON APPEAL.
I hope that you get accepted on the appeal, will keep you in my prayers.
Glad you had a good time at the watermelon festival, it sounds like fun,
Hugs, Jean
Yes of course I will pray for you, and I will pray that you keep your Medicare Premium. I hope the appeal is quickly resolved in your favor. Smiling, why didn\'t you win the seed spitting contest?? just curious. Take care, Bill
Hey I hear you, I\'m in Florida and only recently was told that I qualify for some assistance with my medicare....the system is certainly screwed up. I Pray that your appeal will make thngs right for you.......Ron
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer I am afraid! I hope it all works out. I can imagine how scary that is! I love love love the word Discombobulated! I say it all of the time, ha ha! No lie, I really do!
so glad you enjoy the assisted living where you live.
did they tell you WHY they turned you down? wish our country was like canada and EVERYTHING medical would be free. xxoo
Yes, they finally DID tell me why I was turned down. I hadn\'t sent the correct documentation of my income. I guess they are expecting to find my billion dollar Swiss bank account, eh? So I sent them every possible humiliating proof of poverty and they will re-evaluate my case. Also, I now know who my caseworker is. Before, I had no idea who I was supposed to be corresponding with!
So glad they will be evaluating your case. I will keep you in my prayers. I first heard the word discombobulated from a man that I dearly loved and wanted us to be a couple. It may have been possible but he passed away while I was with him from cancer. He had always made me laugh and that wasn\'t easy to do. It has been 14 yrs since he has gone and I still think of him and think of what could have been with us. Sorry to get off topic. Praying for the best for you sweet lady. XX
