I am back and working on staying positive
Well the good news is that I was promoted!!! So, I am happy that I'm winding down my current position and about to embark on a new adventure. I've been doing the same thing for about five years which is about three years too long. Anyway, I did take my trip in February and I had a nice time and got to spend some time with a really nice person.
The bad news is that I hurt myself last Saturday and I've had some problems with my knee on my good leg. I went to an ortho and the problem is that I got arthritis like issues under my knee cap on my left knee. Something about the cartilage softening and wearing away. Its something called chondromalacia patella (patellofemoral syndrome). I will just call it "wonky kneecap".
I have something similar in my right knee too but it doesn't bother me that much. My ankle is always the culprit most of the time. So, I'll just deal with it. Either way I'm limping whether its my ankle or my knee. The knee is on the leg that is usually the strongest so I've had some ankle and shin issues in the bad leg. But frankly it sucks but I have so many other things that are good going on that I refuse to let this stop me. With the new job and the great time I'm having post divorce, I will work around this. I am still going to do a 5k race in May. I will probably be slow but I will still do it.
Well that's what I've been up to. I hope to have more positive journal entries forthcoming.
