Husband not playing fair!

Just wanted to vent a little about the non support from my husband as I am starting this road to recovery.  My Dr. says my liver has been affected pretty bad by my drinking and that I must stop.  She gave me Campral and Zoloft to help me stop.  I went home from Dr. and discussed it all with my husband, who agreed that he also should stop, due to his diabetes.  He said when what we had in the house was gone, that he would join me in quitting.  Well, three days after my last drink, he finished what was in the house.  On my day four of quitting, he decided that since he just had minor surgery, that he needed to continue drinking untill his stiches were out, because he was in pain.  So, off to the store he went, and purchased not just a small bottle of whiskey, but 1/2 gallon!  I just feel that he is not being supportive, although I realize that the whole world will not stop drinking just because I have.  But it doesn't make it easy having it in the house and seeing him sit and drink.  Thanks for listing dear journal.
