Husband asked to talk...

last night my husband asked to talk about whether we should cut ties and run or slowly work on things for the sake of our family. I am hoping he really does this talk with an open mind and that we would be able to rebuild our family. I have been doing reading on how to reconcile after a separation and affair. Hope this happens. I know he'll need some time to really decide if he wants to work on things but I'll take that he is thinking about making moves towards a talk as a good sign. Any advice?
