Hurtle one - hubby gets to stay with me

It is amazing, but as I am having my surgery at a VA hospital, they are VERY aware of the severity of PTSD. As My Service Dog is retired due to arthritis and my pup in training is not far enough along in her training to sit still in a hospital for three days, they have made sure that it has been cleared in several places that my husband can stay with me 24/7 while I am admitted  They are expecting two or three days admitted.
