Hurt and Confused

Well I am not sure what I am doing but I just need someone to talk to. I have been seeing a guy for 2 1/2 years and I found out Friday that he has been cheating on me. I knew that he has lied to me but never thought that he would ever cheat on me. He has been married twice and he told me that both his wives cheated on him and he would never do that to me because he knows how much it hurts. 
I saw some of the texts he has sent the other woman and he tells her he loves her and calls her babe. He even told her I was his ex. They have even had sex.  I let her know that I was not his ex and we have been seeing each other and we have been in a relationship for 2 1/2 years. She didn't believe me because of the things he told her. 
I am really hurt by the way he has treated me. I feel used. He even told me today on the phone that he hasn't loved me for quite some time but he tells me he loves me all the time. 
I told him today that it was over but it really hurts. I really thought he was the right person for me. 
I am not sure that there is anyone out there for me.
