Hurry up and wait!
So for the past few years I have lived with a number of conditions (polymyalgia rheumatica, diabetes, clinical depression) only to find that I am now diagnosed with Myathenia Gravis. Now I have to wait 6 months for an "emergancy" appointment before they will begin treating the symptoms.
I am thankful for many things and try to remain positive, but the medical system is doing its best to countermand my positive aspect. Oh well... 'hurry up and wait' is the catchphrase of the day I guess.

I\'m sorry to hear about your MG diagnosis. I completely understand about \"hurry up and wait,\" as my social life primarily consists of doctor\'s appointments. : ) I hope that you feel better soon, Padre.
At my age I seem to have more doctors than friends. I too seem to lurk around doctors\' offices far too much... and they all have the same phoney plants on the tables! :-)
