At this point, Tatum may just feel uncomfortable. I'm assuming he's about your age? If so, boys that age don't always know how to act around girls they like. They are also easily embarrassed if someone (especially a guy friend) learns that they have a crush on a girl. I would just give him some time. Based on how you described your early interactions, he really seemed to like you. Hard for me to believe that his feelings have suddenly and completely changed. Hugs.
