Hugs and kisses

Hi everyone I need some advice, how important is hugs and kisses in a marriage is. I have been married 16 years and i can count one hand howmany times my husband has kissed or hugged me. I love to kiss and one of the things that really caught my eye with him is his wide big shoulders, but i never get a chance to enjoy them evening during sex. he dont kiss me nor try to hold me. I dont ask for a lot and I have always taken care of my self finanicaly.I just wish he would show me some kind of affection like kissing me or holding me, do i sound crazy should i just let this go.
