Hubby got the job! Good news or bad news?
So my husband got the job with Nintendo. But the job is in North Bend (Seattle area) which means a move. Also this is actually a seasonal position and they will hire employees for yeararound employment based on their performance during the seasonal period (attendance, taking on OT, etc.). While it is fantastic that he has a job... I'm not as enthusiatic. For one thing, seasonal, we could be the same spot in 4 months. Although he does have another interview down in Kent and that position would not be seasonal. Here he expects me to be all, "Yippee, Yahoo!" happy about the job but I'm struggling with it. There is the seasonal job aspect, I'm leaving my job here and because he will be working the new job in North Bend ALL of the sorting and packing will be up to me! Does he have any idea what a monsterous job that is going to entail?? Especially for someone with fibro? I've told him I just need time to get use to the idea but he hasn't been real understanding. Change is a major stressor for me, I don't do it well at all so basically I have exchanged one stressor for another! Go me!

Hope that things go well, though, on the job front. But then I am a video game junkie, a Nintendo nerd from waaayyyy back, lol..So I would have a sh*t fit if my hubby was to land a job like that..although moving all that way, and I live in NC..eh, I dunno if I could do it either hun. Keeping you in my prayers.
Oy. Just take it one step at a time, and try to pace yourself throughout the days of packing and moving. Is there anyone who could help you? Family? Friends? Church people? Just remember not to try and take on everything at once or you\'ll feel overwhelmed. Break it down into little bits and you\'ll find you can do more than you thought! *HUGS*
There are moving companies that will do the packing for you, it costs, but sometimes you\'ve just got to pay someone to do what\'s so hard and so harmful for us. Hoping for the best, abby
