I find that your lessons are really working well and the children are really getting into all the songs now and even the youngest child is doing some of the actions to the songs. With the introduction of even more instruments your child will continue to use organisational thinking and higher level processing which assists in preparing them to learn to read and write. Children with working memory difficulties aren’t incapable of retaining and recalling information, however, they will need much more repetition to learn a task than a child with a fully intact working memory. There are flash cards available in the music resource or available here for Hal Leonard cards. We've found some young children and parents/carers to be a little shy when they first attend our Kinder Beat classes. However after the first few classes, you'll find them hanging around the studio or telling their teacher or fellow classmates, all about their week.
