How to make weed grow faster?

Growing indoors is almost always faster than growing outdoors, mostly because you can control the lighting. You can tweak a few other things in the name of speed too.

One method of cannabis cultivation that won’t affect the quality of the crop is crop rotation. Plant your seeds in stages so that you always have plants growing at different stages. This article focuses on indoor methods, as cannabis plants grown outdoors are subject to the limitations of the seasons and weather, which are impossible to change.

Faster is not always better, but there are ways that you can speed up the time from seedling to harvest without sacrificing quality, potency or yields.

So today I'd like to share a short guide on how you can reduce the time to harvest, and how you can reduce the amount of time you actually spend tending your plants, and still get outstanding results.

If you're serious about getting yields as quickly as possible, then these methods may help you.

1.Choose seeds that flower quickly

One of the most efficient ways to harvest quickly is to choose a seed that has a generally short flowering time. Some strains have flowering stages of 8 weeks, such as Northern Lights, while others have flowering times as long as 12 weeks, such as Diesel Haze. In general, strains with longer flowering times tend to yield more, because they spend more time under lights. However, you don’t compromise on quality at all with strains that have shorter flowering times.

2.Fewer hours of light each day in flowering stage

An electrical timer can be used to put your grow lights on a timer, so you can control their daily light scheduleWith photoperiod (regular) strains, you can manipulate the light schedule in the flowering stage to get buds to mature faster. Although most plants will start flowering when they get less than 13 or 14 hours of light a day (that's when plants usually start flowering outdoors), it can take them a long time to "finish" and be ready to harvest with days that long.

3.Choose a quick-finishing strain of marijuana

As you probably know, the life cycle for all marijuana plants is separated into two parts: the vegetative stage and the flowering stage.

The vegetative stage can be shortened by getting the plant to grow faster when she's young. Yet the length of the flowering stage (the time between when flowers first start forming and when the plant is ready to harvest) is pretty much strain-specific.

That means that once you've started flowering a specific strain, there isn't a whole lot good options to speed things up during the flowering stage.

4. Use the best nutrients for weed

A big part of learning how to make buds grow faster is knowing what nutrients to give your plants and when. Your weed plants need 3 key nutrients to survive.

  • Nitrogen (N) –  Needed for growing leaves and stems during the vegetative stage.

  • Phosphorous (P) – Needed to grow lots of buds during the flowering stage.

  • Potassium (K) – Needed to grow bigger, fatter buds during the flowering stage.

5. Make sure your humidity and temperature are correct

Your plants need different levels of humidity during the different growth stages to grow as fast as they can.

Temperature

The ideal temperature for your weed is 70 – 80 degrees Fahrenheit (21 – 27 degrees Celsius).

Humidity

  • Clones – ideal relative humidity is 70 – 80%

  • Seedlings – ideal relative humidity is 65 – 70%.

  • Vegetative stage – ideal relative humidity is 40 – 70%.

  • Flowering stage – ideal relative humidity is 30 – 50%.

6. Ensure your plants have all they need

All plants, including cannabis, need sunlight, water and nutrients to survive. To ensure your plants grow as quickly and healthily as possible, you need to ensure they have all three in the correct quantities. You can add nutrients to the soil with fertiliser or directly into the water if you are using a hydroponics system. Read our blogs for more information about how much water and light your plants need at each stage of the growing process.

7.A best grow tent and a nice led grow light also help you a lot.

  • ENHANCE LIGHT REFLECTION

  • SILENT INDOOR GROWING

  • FREELY ADJUST BRIGHTNESS

Follow our tips, you can choose a best led grow light for cannabis and look forward to a quick harvest. One final thing; it is imperative to dry and cure your precious buds properly. After all your hard work, don’t rush this final stage, however much you are tempted. This could result in an inferior weed, which would be such a shame!
