HOW TO FIX BROTHER PRINTER ERROR A6?

When it comes to the printer, we can say that Brother Printer is a good quality printer. Nowadays, printers have been used in offices for making paperwork a lot easier. But, as we know the printer is a technical device which can have a technical issue. Though the brother printer gives a good quality print, it happens to occur troubles as it is a technical device. Error codes might occur in the printer and one error is Error A6. This error can occur in the brother printer. In this article, we will discuss the methods to solve Error A6.

STEP 1: RECHECK THE HARDWARE CONNECTION

• At first, check that there is no paper left in the paper tray.


• Secondly, check the ink cartridge of your brother printer, and ensure that there is no ink cartridge and is out of ink.


• Make sure you check the connection of your printer and go through the USB cable if it is properly connected or not and also check the network connection.


• After that, unplug the printer from the power source and cut the connection with the network adapter.


• Keep it for 30 seconds, and then by turning it on the check if the error is still there or if it is gone away from the brother printer.

STEP 2: COLD RESET

• Switch off your printer and then the computer and then restart the process of resetting.


• Unplug the brother printer from the power outlet and then cut the connection between the printer and the computer.


• Leave the printer unplugging for 2 minutes approximately.


• Plug in your printer again to the power source and also reconnect it with the computer.


• By restarting, check if any error A6 has gone from your brother printer or not.

STEP 3: CYCLE THE POWER

• Turn off your printer.


• Leave it by turning it off for 20 seconds.


• After that, turn on the printer and let the internal functions set.


• After that, you can see a “Ready” message displaying in the brother printer’s LCD screen. After that check the error and to do that print a test page.

STEP 4: CHECK THE FUSER

• Check the fuser by turning on the system.


• Turn on the printer, disconnect the power cord that is connected to the printer.


• Hit the power button for 30 seconds, so that the printer can release the remaining current.


• After that, open up the fuser gear which is inside the printer in the right-hand side.


• After that, move the fuser gear slowly by taking care of the wear and tear of the fuser gear.


• Close the printer gear and also install it back in the printer.


• Check the brother printer error message A6 if it is removed or not.
